How to Use Nero Smart Start

Nero over the years has created many breakthroughs in burning technology. One of their latest releases is Nero Start Smart. Nero Smart Start is a redesigned command center of Nero Suite. You simply have to select the desired task and the related application will be automatically launched. Here are a few steps to follow so that you can maneuver the software.

Things you will need

• A working computer
• Nero Smart Suite Application

Instructions

1. Power on your computer and install Nero Suite.
2. Launch Nero Smart Start by double clicking on its icon.
3. Select a task from the Smart start list of inline features.
   • Double click on Data Burning to see the ‘Burn Data Disc Screen’
   • Double click on Audio Burning to see the ‘Burning Audio Screen’
   • Double click on Audio Ripping to see the ‘Audio Ripping Screen’
   • Double click on Copy Disc to see the ‘Copy Disc Screen’

Burn Data Disc Screen

1. From the Nero Smart Start screen select Data Burning.
2. Insert a name for your disc in the ‘Disc name’ field.
3. Click the ‘Add’ Button.
4. Select the files you want on the disc and click ‘Open’
5. When complete click the ‘Burn’ button at the bottom of the screen.
6. Remove disc when finished.

Burning Audio Screen

1. From the Nero Smart Start screen select Audio Burning.
2. Select the type of audio disc you would like to burn.
3. Insert a name for your disc in the ‘Disc name’ field.
4. Click the ‘Add’ Button.
5. Select the files you want on the disc and click ‘Open’
6. When complete click the ‘Burn’ button at the bottom of the screen.
7. Remove disc when finished.

Audio Ripping Screen

1. From the Nero Smart Start screen select Audio Ripping.
2. Insert the audio disc you wish to rip into the Cd drive.
3. Select your target directory.
4. Select your output file format.
5. Select the tracks you want to rip.
6. When complete click the ‘Rip’ button at the bottom of the screen.
7. Remove disc when finished.

Copy Disc Screen

1. From the Nero Smart Start screen select Copy Disc.
2. Insert the disc you want copied into the disc drive.
3. Insert the blank disc into a free disc drive.
4. Select the drive in which you inserted the disc you want copied.
5. Select the drive containing your blank disc.
6. Click the ‘Copy’ button.
7. When complete remove discs.
